New On Demand bus service between Chipping Sodbury and Kingwood/Longwell Green will start on 2nd September. The service will operate from Monday to Friday with parts of the route only undertaken if passengers put in a telephone request to our call centre. The call centre (Telephone 01454 868368) will operate from 6:30am to 5:30pm. This service is the first such route in the South Glos area and is financially supported by South Gloucestershire Council. We operate a zero tolerance policy on carrying and consumption of alcohol. This is under Section 1 (Control of Alcohol) of the Bus and Coach of Driver and Passengers Act 1985.

The driver will not allow any alcohol to be carried onto the coach. Police have the powers to stop and search a PSV if they think the law is being infringed. Heavy penalties with maximum fines of up to £1000 and possible jail sentences can be imposed.
